Wow! It was such a rainy, dull weekend. Perfect for cleaning house! Which is what we did ALL weekend. We also finished painting the baby’s room!
I am so behind in taking photos of everything. We finished our master bedroom ages ago. However it is so plain, with nothing on the walls. It so needs some deco. I will take some pictures once we have the crib set up in the nursery, promise.
Your weekend so has to be more thrilling than my exciting weekend of cleaning toilets. I scrubbed so hard this morning (due to my own neglect, getting motivated to clean the bathrooms is a huge thing for me), that I had to lie down!
Ooo I did attend the second part of the photography course and I hope to put some of it into action with my photos. I have been sewing for my Blythe and switching things up with her. The creativity is endless.
We did finally headed outdoors this afternoon. The rain has brought life to our yard. New weeds, mystery plants and buds a plenty. It is so exciting. Becca is totally in the yard discovery spirit.
I still have some puttering about the house, then the big ultrasound on Tuesday and our house guests arriving later Tuesday! Such a fun week ahead!
How was your weekend cuties?

Hmm. Our exciting weekend. We ran errands on Sat. – our cupboard was bare. Today we worked in the yard, which was really nice, if not exciting.
Have a great week!

Mine sounds a lot like yours. It’s been raining about a week now and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get my grass mowed. However, it did go a few hours without raining on Saturday so I mowed really quick! Had to put the mower on the highest setting, but it looks really good! I read and played on the computer, cooked dinner, cleaned up, blah blah. Sunday, I cleaned from about 8:30 until 1:30. I picked apart everything, even the stove and cleaned and cleaned. It kinda made me mad, because why am I the ONLY one who sees dirt?? Are men blind to dirt and clutter??
Anyway, I can’t wait to see pictures!!!!!!!! You know how I love to see rooms that have been re-done!
Rainy but we celebrated Sam’s baby naming and it was a ton of fun.

Sometimes you just have to have those weekends don’t you?!?! Although not willingly!!
We had a stay at home weekend too. C had to study for a test and I am addicted to baking on the grill. This weekend I did muffins, blueberry buckle and a chocolate cake. Lucky for us the children across the street were out and Geordie was hardly indoors.

I moved my kitchen table to my dining room, and the toys that were in the dining room into my kitchen creating an “open concept” house even though it really isn’t. I got sick of the kids always fighting in the living room where I couldn’t see them while cooking. Now they play right in front of me. It’s kind of weird looking, but it’s actually rather functional. And tonight while we were celebrating my good news (you’ll have to read my post on Wednesday about it) it was nice to sit in a formal dining room.
Congrats on getting the nursery all painted! That must be a big relief! We did ours Vistoria Day weekend, and Sierra was born 3 weeks later.

I see Blythe is a Mac girl!
I still marvel at your energy. To be pregnant with two children, and move into a house and whip it into shape…. Go you!
