Becca’s teeth are still hanging in there. I am so surprised I thought for sure by now we would have had a visit form the Tooth Fairy. Instead today we welcomed Cordelia’s first tooth!
Can you believe it? Already! The girl is growing up way too fast for my liking. Thankfully she takes after her big sister and the tooth appeared without pain and suffering (unlike her older brother, he was tortured by teething!) It is the right tooth on the bottom that has broken threw but not up yet.
It is cold here. -20 C with the wind chill (and that so totally counts when walking to school!) I am so excited that today was the last day of school! YAY Christmas holidays.
I knit a pair of Bella Mittens for Ms B, Becca’s teacher. I hope the mittens will keep her hands toasty! I am still in the process of knitting, sewing and the like for Christmas. I am so not leaving it this late next year.
Ethan has not been feeling well as of late. He is very clingy, sensitive and teeters on the edge of crying a lot. It is so not like him. I am hoping it will pass soon.
The kids are beyond excited for Christmas. I can hardly wait to have everyone home, celebrating the season together. Times seems so precious.

Oh my, I’m sorry her tooth hasn’t come out yet.
Today is our last day of school as well. Hooray! I’m dragging in to the break to be sure.

Um how on earth does Cordi already have a tooth, slow down girl
Maybe Becca will get a visit from Santa and the Tooth Fairy?
-20 is so not fun walking weather. We’ve warmed up from our cold spell.
Oh that is just too cold! And here I was complaining when we had -12 F with wind chill. LOL!
I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas.
Is that a Jayne hat I spy on a cute little head?
I have been thinking about knitting up another pair of Bella mittens that I will keep this time. They seemed so cozy.
Teeth for Christmas…yay! Hope Ethan feels better in time for Christmas too.
I always say I’m not going to leave the handmades for the last minute. Somehow, there are still stragglers every year.

May I say how jealous I am about the tooth coming in easy? I think some kids are just more bothered by it for some reason.
I hope Ethan starts to feel more like his slef soon. Sometimes I wonder if there is developmental stuff going on that I don’t understand. For the last two nights the girl has been crying and crying for no reason.

My boy is six and, while he does well out in the world, he would like to live under Mommy’s skin. This is boys and Mommas, eh?
Enjoy the kids’ break, and more power to you for making mittens (my sis is an elementary teacher and can’t believe the amount of unuseable crap she brings home at the holiday break). I’m totally telling my neighbor, who had her baby the same week as you, that The Canadians Are Teething.

My kids are super excited for Christmas as well. M keeps asking if the baby will come that day… Maybe he will

I hope Ethan feels better soon. M has been very emotional. I think the excitement of the season can be hard on little ones.

I am so glad the kids are excited and I know you are too. Wow I cannot believe a first tooth already. Time is flying..
So glad that Cordelia did suffer with the teething, my boys did like Ethan. I hope he get back to himself soon, he is so adorable in that hat! I bet they are so excited about Christmas.
