I am slowly plucking away at preparing Christmas cards. I know it isn’t totally a green Christmas concept, however it gives me the warm and fuzzies to send and receive Christmas cards.
This year we opted to take a self portrait of the family at a local park. It turned out good, although the lighting wasn’t ideal. I worked the lighting into the card design through Costco. Their printing is way inexpensive and had the cards ready in an hour! Totally happy with their service.

No, it’s not a completely green concept, but I like exchanging Christmas cards as well. This doesn’t mean you have to ignore the impact to the environment though. Just be sure you recycle you Christmas cards, when you’re done with them…
