This weekend Becca celebrated her fifth birthday with a “Let’s Pretend it is REALLY sunny out, have a backyard kiddie pool party with your closest friends” party. The weather was awful but the kids had a blast.
In fact, the kids were awesome. They loved playing in the warm water while the rain fell down around them. They spent almost an hour in the pool!
A few days ago I decided we must have a pinata. Not a store bought pinata, because that would be much much too easy for a 39 week pregnant mom of almost three children. So I found a great tutorial for a Cat Pinata! My cat’s ears turned out a little cockeyed but other than that I am happy with the result. Besides the kids really just wanted the goodies inside!
After the pinata, we had cake and opened presents. Becca was over the moon happy and had a wonderful time partying with her friends. An awesome, memorable, Maritime birthday for an amazing kid.
