In Which We Are All Sick

In Which We Are All Sick

Canada DayCanada Day … YAY! We were all sick with a cold. Four sorry looking souls, coughing, with boogies .. not fun. Ooo but please have the 36.5 week pregnant gal wait in line for over an hour for the jumpy house … The things we do for love. Everyone had a great day despite being sick (poor J had to be the front man mostly even though he is under the weather too!)

We did not make it to the fireworks. It did not take much coaxing to get Becca to agree to see the fireworks at a later date (we have more celebrate with fireworks holidays coming).

Since getting this pregnant, I am wishing the baby to stay put for a change. Normally I am quite happy to fantasize an early arrival. However with this cold … ugh stay put baby. I cannot breath! So on Friday when I see our OB I will be requesting drugs if I am still sick. That bought with pneumonia has me super paranoid.

Nothing is getting done. House … AHHHH scary messy. Emails are piling up. Blogs unread. Designs waiting for inspiration. yuck. I so hate feeling crappy. I am hoping that once I do feel better I will be so relieved it will take no time at all to recover.

Nothing is worse than being sick when you kids are sick. I have so little paitence for the poor little things. They simply must suck it up and push through like the rest of us. I am thankful for the neighbor girl that will be coming by this morning to play/babysit so I can hopefully catch up on some house cleaning.

Isn’t it amazing how dismal everything seems when you feel sick and then…suddenly…you click into feeling just that much better…and it all seems doable.

But, heck, maybe not with being so preggie. Hang in there. Day by day. Or maybe minute by minute.

Fingers crossed you don’t deliver for a few more weeks!
