AHHH how is it Saturday? How is May practically over?!
Life has been a blur. I have been in a bit of a funk. Feeling foggy, bummed and moody. It has been really frustrating, NOTHING is wrong. Everything is AWESOME. ugh.
Hormones.
I hate to be that hormonal pregnant woman … ugh.
I am trying to shake it off … since I should be DELIRIOUSLY happy.
So after talking with a good friend, and having her confirm I am not just a moody witch and in fact a hormonal pregnant woman, the fog slowly started to lift. I am starting to feel better … THANK GOODNESS. It doesn’t help that my body is forcing me to slow down. I have had a lot of ligament pain since the little girl flipped, making me miserable when I attempt to move. It is worse at night, oddly enough making sleep difficult. The only time I have true relief from it is in the pool. Gravity is so not my friend.
Sheesh. The kids have been great. We just bought a rocking car. J and I are so in sync it amazes me. The house is so cozy, surrounded by green beauty, surprise flowers, tomato and pumpkin plants that I planted … Life is frikin great. I so want to be happy, content and enjoy it.
I mean for real look at these cuties … I am so fortunate
Got any hormone stabilizing tips? Were you off during your pregnancy ever?

Yay- I’m so glad that you found a great new car!! And I don’t have any hormone stablizing tips… but I was pretty much a mess while I was pregnant too. It’s just all part of it. Hope you’re feeling better!!

I am fairly certain it’s a requirement of pregnancy to be a little off. Hormones are powerful things. I was very melancholy before D was born. You’re nearly done and you’ll have that beautiful baby in your arms and you’ll forget these pregnancy hormones and be on to new mommy hormones…yay!

You poor pregnant girl! I can totally sympathize…. was totally the same. The only thing I can recommend is simply looking at it as the means to the end it is…… and a bit of prayer! One day at a time baby! Wish I could offer you something concrete

Um… I’ve been in a pregnancy funk here lately, too. The only thing that really helped was venting to close friends and my husband, thank goodness. However, I still get moody, VERY easily.

Chelle I feel for you. I was like you, supper hormonal at times, very uncomfortable, sleep was not easy, and the only place I was comfortable was the pool.
Hang in Chelle, in the end you will be so happy to see your little girl you will forget how hard it was.
Chelle: I think we have all been there at some point… hormonal moodiness just comes with the territory I think. Hang in there!! Not much longer & you’ll be able to hold your beautiful baby (and get your body back where it is just yours!!).
Those hormones can really get a girl. I would cry at the drop of a pin when I was preggos with Levi. I have no solutions for you. Breathing and a cup of tea tended to help some of the funks. Keyword: some.
So hope you feel better. And, that end of the pregnancy miserable sleep…so been there. Hope you get some rest.

You know I totally relate, my friend. Imagine a washing machine walking. That’s what I look like these days. So much to be thankful for, yes, but physically hard to enjoy.

Of course your hormonal! That’s pretty much what pregnancy is, right? Being happy, being sad, being angry, being mad, being tired, being hyper, being in pain.
I say stay in that pool as much as you can!
Oh my Gosh. I just looked and you only have 52 days left!!! That doesn’t sound long at all!!!!
I was sick as a dog rather than hormonal! What I would give for either now!!!
Does blogging help with the hormones? You know, just to get your feelings out there?

It’ll pass soon Chelle so no worries
Love their adorable smiles
I felt my hormones were the most stable when I was eating lots of blood building foods like beets, cherries, figs, dates, red meat, dark beans etc. It is just the switch in your body to the third trimester..but still hormones stink!

A good quality cold water fish oil may do the trick for the fuzzy thinking, check with your doc or mid-wife first though. 1 – 2 tsp. a day, mix it into a smoothy or protein shake, more omegas might help if you don’t want to do fish oil you could try ground flax seeds on your morning cereal, or flax oil on your salad. Vega makes a really good oil it’s a mixture of hemp, flax and something else. Tastes a bit funky though. Bump up your lean proteins and healthly fats – avocados are great. Try some tofu
Becka – I can’t believe how big she is. You guys make beautiful children, can’t wait to see the next one!

Boy, I don’t know: part of me wants to say, “Feel how you feel–not how you think you should feel.” Being cranky or tired is part of the gig. Don’t deny its place!
