In a few short days my little baby boy will turn 2! A few days after that I turn a year older as well. It is a busy week for our family.
We are celebrating Ethan’s birthday on Saturday, spending the day together as a family. No work is allowed, no painting, no internet (well maybe a little, while he sleeps!). I am baking him a cake and decorating it to look like a road, then I am placing some new cars on it for him.We are making his favourite, BBQ’d Costco sausage. This he eats the most of no matter what.
I think in the morning we might head out and go bowling. We have wii bowled as a family but we have friends that have taken their little ones and loved it. I would love to spend the day at a playground or outside but it is suppose to be raining. I really think that both Becca and Ethan will enjoy the lanes!
I am in awe that it has been two years. We were in California, the sun was shining and our baby boy was born. Now we are home, Canada sweet Canada, own our very own home, pregnant with yet another munchkin, preparing our first born for school in the fall and trying to tame our wild California baby.
We started preparing Ethan’s room. We have the ceiling painted and all the holes are filled and sanded. We need to finish taping then the primer will go on (Not till Sunday though since we ataking Saturday off.) We also bought the paint for our room yesterday since Rona had a sale 
It is so wonderful to make our home comfy and colourful.
