The ever amazing Gail at Delightfully Diva-ish awarded me with the Christmas Spirit Award.

Christmas Spirit Award rules:
You must be a true Christmas lover to receive this award. The person to whom you give the award must also be in love with Christmas. You must link back to the person who gave you the award. You must list 5 things that you love about Christmas. If you can’t limit it to 5 things, then keep going till you run out of space! Pass the award along to as many people as you like. That can be 1 or 45; it’s up to you. But, you must pass it on to at least one person in order to keep the Christmas cheer going! Let your recipients know that you have tagged them by leaving them a comment.
What I love about Christmas:
- Sharing the joy of Jesus birth with my children.
- The turkey. J & I prepare the turkey together (mostly J to be honest) and it turns out awesome!
- Ok I seriously love opening presents! Before we had kids and we spent Christmas’ together alone J & I would always open our presents EARLY! Oh gosh we were evil! hehe
- I absolutely adore finding the perfect presents (or creating them) for others. I enjoy shopping (early) and I love creating things. I get the opportunity to show those I care about how much they mean to me.
- Sending and receiving Christmas cards (oh mine went out sooo late this year I am so embarrassed). I hang them all on twine and feel all warm and fuzzy. Next year I am starting earlier!
Now to tag a few of those that I know have the Christmas Spirit (and may have the time to do this!)
I have also wrote over at Being Savvy Halifax

Merry Christmas, Chelle! I didn’t get my cards out until last FRIDAY. I can’t believe how late I was this year!

Yep, my cards went out LATE too – but I perservered and got there with them!
I’m so impressed that you guys go there with the Turkey – I have never bought one! I must give it a go. There is usually turkey at Christmas dinner ….but I’ve never tried cooking it myself (and i quite like dry turkey, so it would be a disaster for everyone else!)
