What a Weekend!

Written by Chelle on Monday, November 17th, 2008

We had a fabulous weekend!

It started off on Friday, you can check out what the kids and I did over at Being Savvy Halifax …

Then Saturday J returned from another university tour/talk and we ventured out, like good ole Maritimers to the Parade of Lights! It was pouring rain most of the time. We do not own an umbrella (well Becca does but we forgot it at home!) I am determined now to buy an umbrella! It was super awesome and the kids had a BLAST! The rain for them was just a bonus! We were SOAKED. Good times.

Yesterday we went for a drive to an art gallery in rural Nova Scotia. I had purchased some pyrex pieces through Etsy and was picking them up. We drove by Lawerencetown beach on the way home … witnessed some amazing waves!

We also packed till we ran out of boxes! I am getting so excited! TWO WEEKS from today and we have possesion of the HOUSE …. *squeals of delight!*

To round off the weekend perfectly, Ethan slept from 8pm to 7am …. straight. Not once waking up. He got up all refreshed and happy this morning …. I am so hoping this is a new trend for him!

Hey, you people keep having so much fun every time I turn around. I’m sorry I haven’t been a good commenter, and yet you have always commented on my posts. I’m bad, bad, bad! I can’t believe your move is in two weeks. I hope all the packing goes well!

Cute picture with the red noses. Your men look cold.

I’ve been to Nova Scotia once off season and the streets rolled up around 8 pm. It was still a very pretty place.

I pray that Ethan continues this trend. It’s so nice when they get the rest they need.

    Baby Soodz #3

    We're having a baby!

I am 36 weeks pregnant. There are 21 days until my due date on July 26, 2009.

When I am very still I can sometimes see the rythmic patterns of my baby practicing breathing, though there is no air in baby's lungs, yet. Sometimes this breathing practice gives the baby the hiccups!
