Time Inches Forward
Will November ever end?
This week has gone by insanely fast, yet this month seems endless.
It is not that I do not have a MILLION things to do, but still. I would much rather do everything in my new house! December 1 is our closing date. We meet with our mortgage guy Monday, and our realitor the week before closing. It all seems so far away.
I still have a ton of packing to do. I have presents to prepare for shipping and Christmas cards to prepare. Yet my mind just wants it to be December 1.
Our anniversary was awesome. Our totally wonderful friends took our kids so we could go out to eat. We had a great walk and talked then ate at a pub downtown. Magical to send time with my husband! We totally need to start a date night on a regular basis somehow!
By the way, I am still going to blog here. Being Savvy Halifax is my paid gig. It is a total reflection of me and this blog with a direction. Preschool life in Halifax. I am sorry if I cause confusion with yesterday’s post. I totally understand that time is limited and we cannot read everything. I absolutely adore the support but totally get the time constraints!
Heading to Prince Edward Island was so awesome. J & I had discussed the kids and I going with him, but decided to be pratical. Then at the least possible moment we threw cation to the wind! I am so glad we did! It was the cost of food for the kids and I, plus a museum admission. I so so want to head there on a summer vacation at some point in my life time. It is such a beautiful place!
Today the kids and I are heading to a Fire Station for a tour … I tell you all about it next week! Any plans for the weekend? We have a few thing to attend and tour about …

I think a regular date night is very healthy and a wonderful idea
I thought November was going fast
Have fun on the Fire Station tour.
You sound so busy. I guess there is a lot of that going around. I love the family pic and glad you all are having a great time.

My sister and I keep each others kids on alternating months (for overnights) and it gives us a full night alone. I LOVE it. If you don’t have anyone you would trust to keep your kids overnight you could still work out a once a month evening out. By taking turns with a trusted friend you don’t have to pay for a sitter which makes the night out much more economical. And my kids love it when it is our turn to have my niece and nephew over at our house.

This year is zooming by! I wish time was inching forward! But, I understand your desire to get into your house. James agrees with you and wishes we could just skip Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas. You Canadians have to right idea by getting that out of the way early.
I keep saying we’re going to have regular date nights but . . .
We have the final soccer game this weekend (yeah) and party and Sun. I plan on being a hermit.

What an awesome pic!
I didn’t realize the other site you were getting paid for, that’s absolutely awesome!!!
Sorry I didn’t mean to sound snarky or snooty about it, I just wasn’t sure which one I should be going to first but I must tell you I like it here better so I’m glad you’re continuing here
OMG!!! Are you totally excited or what??!!!
I’m so excited for you for December 1st. It will be here before you know it even though it seems like so so far away yet.
I find now that life in general is just going by so so fast anymore.
Lots to do still, you’re probably meeting with your lawyer besides all that too?
Are you doing a final walk through the house the day before closing?
BTW, I must tell you E looks like a mini J, lol!!!
Again, sorry about my other comment.

Great pic of you all! One to frame.
I totally know that feeling of WAITING …. we had to wait 8 weeks before settling into our first home. Hard going - I used to drive past it regularly which I think made it torturous!
