To Do

Written by Chelle on Thursday

I was feeling weighed down.

I hate that feeling.

I have a to do list that is way too long. I am rarely if ever getting anything scratched off my list and I was getting frustrated.

I am trying to do too much. Yet nothing seems optional, like not important enough to be done. All of it has importance. Hence why it is on my to do list.

This week I have finally got to the point that I can scratch things off the list.

All too often I get so wrapped up in the to do, that I totally get overwhelmed. Need to take it down a notch. I so always get, “How do you do it all? Don’t you sleep?” and yet so often I do not see it that way.

I am trying to get used to working from home (Work at Home Moms are goddesses). I cannot imagine doing it full time. I would be absolutely stressed out. Yet it is all coming together now.

Welcome to my A Pink October theme (be it two days late), in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month, for all those affected by Breast Cancer and all cancers … Take care of yourselves, you are loved and needed.

I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed with my to do list that I’m about to give up. When the list gets too long I just kind of shut down.

I love the Pink! It looks fantastic.

Great new design! Way to go Chelle!

I also salute you! I tried the SAHM thing last year and hated every moment. I’m way happier now that I’m back to work.

love the new look! well done!

I’m feeling a little overwhelmed too! Trying to get the house up (in this market). You would think that I would rush through and do everything right away but I find myself slacking and putting things off. If I had a penny for how many times I’ve said, “tomorrow…”.
It’s always nice to hear that someone is in the same boat as you!

What I have started doing was making smaller lists. Yes, that means more lists but mentally it’s better to look at less stuff and more marked off!! ;)

I felt that that last week when I posted about having an endless list of o do stuff. I hope you find a way to feel less overwhelmed. When I feel that way, ironically, I don’t get anything done cause I feel so stressed about it all.

I just love your new blog design. Isn’t it hard to get through those lists… sometime we just need to take time out to enjoy the now… as the list will always be there, but the now won’t.

Taking it down a notch sounds like a wonderful idea! I am so with you on the getting-overwhelmed front. It’s so frustrating, but I know it’s awesome to be able to finally scratch stuff off the dreaded to-do list.

I love your theme! I was thinking of resurrecting part of my breast cancer awareness theme from last year, but have not gotten around to it yet.

I love the new monthly look. My “to do” list only get bigger, never smaller. I feel like I start a million things put never really finish any, i.e. Laundry (I swear I pick up clothes 24/7). I commend you for Working from home. A SAHM’s job is hard and then you add work on top, that’s grounds for Sainthood.
Hope your weekend was relaxing. I know it will get crazy as you get closer to the move.
