You and my sister are the only people I know that are done their Christmas Shopping. When I bought my first home I still had a month left in my lease. I moved one room at a time and painted. I did not have children at the time but I took my time and really did not pack. It also depend on how far the apt. is from the house. In the end it will all make it there! You are done with your Christmas shopping!?! Wow! I thought I was doing well to have my idea list ready and done, but you actually have your gifts!

I hope that moving goes well, it is nice that you have a month of overlap. We had that too, and it saved us! I started packing up early though, just the things that I knew we wouldn’t need. I hope that you can enjoy the ride!

I can’t wait to see the costume too.

Having the apartment for a month will certainly help. I know we had our house for a month after we moved and it took the stress off of doing all the cleaning and such. Glad you are feeling better. Every time I come here, it makes me want to get my sewing machine out and try to figure out how to thread the bobbin. But I have so much on my plate right now that I think having one more thing to be frustrated over would make me lose it for real.
