Why is Ethan driving?

Written by Chelle on Saturday, March 15th, 2008

DrivingWell it appears if J is driving, eventually he will be in a car accident!

This is the FOURTH accident my husband has been involved in ONE year! This is getting a little crazy! Once again he was not at fault, the accident was thankfully minor and neither my husband, Ethan or the other driver was hurt. J is getting all sore and tense from the impact, however Ethan totally has no signs of pain.

J & Ethan went out to get some food for supper and upon returning home, a lady turned in front of him, and although J totally slammed on the brakes, the slippery conditions prevented him from being able to stop in time. It was so nerve racking waiting for him to come home!

I am convinced this car is cursed (although one of the accidents J was HIT by a car while WALKING at the university in California). Hopefully there will be no issues in the repairs since the other driver was issued a ticket.

ouch!Isn’t it ironic that today, J & I were all … “Sweet everything is falling into place and coming together”. By no means is this accident the end of the world as we know it, but still annoying to have yet another thing to deal with.

I am incredibly grateful that Ethan and J are ok. I told Becca after J called that they were in an accident, her first response “Well good thing I didn’t go, I would have been hurt!” Then she went around the apartment making presents and cards for J & Ethan. It was like the second time J took Ethan out on his own! Poor J. Poor car.

I am so so ready for things to get just a little boring. Just long enough that I can complain that it is boring … k?

Wow! So glad that everyone is o.k. Good thing you are still a one car family so J doesn’t get to take it too much.

I’m glad they are okay! Poor J. I wonder if he feels cursed, but like you said, I’m sure it’s the car. I had a cursed car once, and EVERYTHING would happen with that car. First accident, locks locking by themselves, horn blowng for no good reason (turns out there was a defect in the alarm system, but they didn’t reimburse for the two times I had to pay for a lock smith to let me in my own car!)

So glad they are both okay! Love Becca’s response though - both the words and the presents/cards.

Boring can be good. I agree.
