Got Kids
So all this crap about poor poor pitiful me and have I told you about the kids?? Nope.
Ethan my dear EIGHT month old is crawling. A couple days ago he mastered going from his tummy to sitting, then BAM yesterday he crawled. He doesn’t realize he can crawl though. hehe. When he thinks about it he gives up and gets annoyed. However, when he is determined to chew on a power cord or get one of his sister’s animals he can CRAWL. It is so awesome. He has been a tad cranky but he is doing awesome.
Becca is overjoyed with all the snow. Her lame mom packed her snow pants in the moving truck, but she has overcome that and played anyway. We really should try to get out there and make a snowman soon
She has still not mentioned her MIA backpack, and seems happy to play with the few things we have bought for her. She is growing up so fast. We are right around the corner from having a three and a half year old!
We have talked to the driver of our moving van (much nicer than our moving coordinator I tell ya!) and I am suppose to meet him at customs … THURSDAY!!! Our stuff will be here TOMORROW. It is snowing here today but I am hoping that will not slow him down.
We were planing on going downtown today, however living in an apartment means waiting for deliveries
Especially without a car to go pick things up. So maybe next week. Friday we have a department Christmas part to attend.
Oh we went to the university yesterday to check it out. OMG J is so the man. Hearing people introduce him as “The newest member of our faculty” was soooo COOL> The building he will work in is being renovated, so his office is all new and sparkley. It is so COOL! I can only imagine how giddy he is if I am this giddy!
(sorry about the poor quality on the picture, I had to take a picture of the picture since our scanner is on the truck) Becca totally froze with Santa, refusing to speak, so we wrote a letter instead. Ethan on the other hand was all grins with an expression of “Look guys I am sitting on Santa’s knee!” Too cute!

Yay for stuff.
I can’t wait till Thursday either now.
Fa won’t even go NEAR friggin’ Santa so you are a few steps ahead of us on that one!!!
So happy for J! What a great time for him and you are so supportive. You really are such a wonderful family!
Give those ‘kids’ a smooch from me please!!!
Yes get out there and build a snowman! I can’t wait to get home to snow and still need to get myself a winter jacket.
Love the Santa pic - my DS loves sitting on Santa’s lap and DD is more content to stand by me and wave at him.
I was sad when K started to crawl! Yay for Ethan though!
My kids love the snow here too, but it’s been so cold that I don’t want to take them out to play!
Awww… adorable pic!
I agree, Becca is looking so much older now. Where is the time going?
Yippeee!!! J must be so so excited! I know if it were me I would be thrilled & to have a brand spanking new office too? Woo hooo!!!
Good stuff on your stuff. Hope it’s all here tomorrow without any delays
I can’t believe how smiley he is on the fat man’s lap. Our guy totally was like “What the hell are you doing to me and who the hell is that?” at eight months.
Yay for Ethan! Being mobile rawks! lol
I’m so glad your HHG are on the way! Unpacking will be like Christmas before Christmas. YAY! LOL
Wow! It’s all coming together. See, it will be a Merry Christmas, dammit.
Yay for Ethan! and for Becca ignoring the backpack (may your luck continue there).
Hope your stuff arrives as expected.
That is awesome that Ethan is crawling, before you know it he will be walking. He looks like he is enjoying himself in the picture.
It appears the kids are much better at these major transitions then their mothers.
Hope all your stuff comes tomorrow so you can get ready for Christmas!
Hurrah!!! I am so releived for you! Thanks for the update on the kids…they really are great little troopers
Did you find a closer Starbucks than Spring Garden Rd? Not being a coffee drinker, I’m not much help
Great picture, I couldn’t coax Jillian near Santa this year!
Wow Ethan mobile, “may the force be with you”
fun stuff thats for sure.
Yay stuff arriving. That is cool!
The kids are getting big…crawling what a big step. I pray that all goes well with the unpacking.
SO tomorrow is today and I hope you have your stuff!
That Santa has one huge beard!
Ethan is smiling! It’s rare to see a baby smiling while sitting on Santa’s lap!
I hope you get everything quickly. I am also glad that your apartment is nice.
Oh, btw all the Starbucks are in the Chapters in Halifax. You will see a lot of Second Cups though. Personally I like them better and you should be served a lot faster (at least a lot faster than the Starbucks in Vancouver.)
My son loved the Santa picture.
Awww that is soo sweet! Your goofy daughter.. how cute.. at least she got her wishes accross so she can get what she wants for christmas.
Yeah!!! And just throw her in the snow without the snowpants!
Wow! He learned that much faster than Preston did! I hope your stuff arrives without any complications.
I can’t believe he’s crawling already! Just doesn’t seem possible does it? and what a cute pic of both of them - Ethan looks beyond delighted to be sitting on Santa’s lap!
