Well my Dad’s visit is already come to a close. How is some weeks go by so slowly yet last week was lightening fast?
On Sunday we headed to Bandelier National Park. We hiked and explored the ancient ruins. Then we had a picnic while Becca recovered from a terrible fall. I swear this girl cannot keep skin on her elbows and knees. My Dad really enjoyed the park.
Yesterday I went to see the chiropractor again. The man is a saint! Thanks to everyone that recommended seeing a chiropractor! It was not plantar facilitous as I was first told. Rather is was more of a sprain and injury to my foot. The chiropractor explained it a lot better. All I know, is that my foot is marginally better than it was before! w00t! Good
shoes, magical socks and some therapy from the chiropractor!
Becca was able to show Grandpa her stellar swimming skills during her lessons. She is becoming less of the rebel in the class and is starting to listen more. I really think all these group activities are good for her.
I am spending today catching up to normal life. I am way behind in reading blogs, designing and thoughts in general. I have been doing a lot of knitting that I look forward to sharing too! ugh. back to laundry! ugh.

Aww those cheeks make me want to melt!
It is nice to know that my kids are no the only ones that are banged up. I can’t remember where individual bruises come from any more, there are so many.
Yay for chiros! Sorry your week went by so fast. I hate that.
Glad to know the socks are working. Sorry your dad’s visit is already over. Looking forward to seeing your knitting.
Awww… sorry your dad is going home already. I thought he just got there?
Poor Becca, she must still be going through a growth spurt, lol.
Enjoy your catch up time!
Hey, great news about your foot and the chiropractor! Glad you got to enjoy spending time with your dad.
every time i type in sushi, I get hungry (fyi)
cute kid — he has a perfect shaped head — heh heh
I agree — the outdoors are great
Those are some healthy cheeks! Little cutie!
Sorry your Dad’s visit was so short. I know what you mean about time.
Everytime you mention knitting I feel the urge to learn to start! Argh. And it’s Spring here so knitting is out of season. I might look into it over summer ready for next winter! It sounds like you’ve had a good time with your dad.
It always seems like the most desired visits go by TOO quickly! But your foot is getting better, which is a HUGE blessing!
I am happy you were able to enjoy your time with you dad. Time always goes by quickly when you are enjoying it when the ones you love, huh?
Aw, Dad’s visit over already?
I’m sorry.
I’m so happy your foot is feeling better! That’s great news!
I send you warm hugs.
I’m sorry your dad is leaving so soon. :o( Glad your foot is better!
Yeah! I can comment again! Who knew that IE was the problem, I downloaded Firefox this afternoon and loaded your site in 5 seconds instead of 5 minutes. I’m so happy can you tell?
Sounds like you had a nice visit with your Papa, bittersweet isn’t? It’s hard being so far away from family but you are so fortunate that your family can come and visit.
I’m sorry to hear your dad’s visit is coming to an end
Your dad sounds so wonderful. I’m glad you all had a terrific visit.
