Pics of Day ~ The Kids at the Zoo ~
We have had so many fine adventures here in California. Disneyland was amazing. The beaches, the zoos, the gardens, the shopping … oh the shopping! There are so many places I would love to revisit before we head out but that is just not possible.
Today we headed to the San Diego Zoo. It was one of those perfect day, spent as a family. The weather was overcast and the zoo was totally sparse of people, abundant with animals. We visited our favourites and said good bye. We received another Zoo Member Collector pin and Becca requested a Daddy Giraffe to add to her ever growing collection of animals.
Driving down to the Zoo, gave J & I the chance to talk candidly about our plans for the move without distractions. There is so much to settle when the time is right. First we need to finish planning Becca’s third birthday party! Holly the most amazing friend, beat Marina (equally amazing) by 2 seconds volunteering to make Becca’s cake! I so (heart) these women!
I purchased some goodies for the kids to take home next weekend. Tomorrow J & I are going to tackle constructing Skippyjon Jones in papermache. w00t. Besides that we have the pool, the chalk, the bubbles and will have snacks … all is good.
We have a busy week ahead of us. I swear things are going to get crazier before it gets quieter … sigh. No Rest for the Wicked.

We are having Kamryn’s b-day party tomorrow. Shrek theme here we come LOL. Have fun making Skippyjon Jones I am off to make a b-day cake, just using the Shrek logo.
The zoo looks awesome, Edmonton’s zoo sucks, we did Calgary’s zoo last year and it was the best.

I’m sure Becca loved to get to the zoo again. I wouldn’t have spoken up so quickly if I had known that Marina was cake decorator extraordaire. Me and my big mouth. LOL.
I’m glad you got to go to the zoo. I loved the Bronx Zoo when we lived in NY. We haven’t lived in place since leaving that had such a great zoo. Small towns are interesting though. I hope all goes well as you prepare for your move. May you have the grace you need and some helping hands.
That zoo sounds more and more awesome the more I hear about it from people! Very cool to go back and say bye. Sounds like you have everything ready for the party, way to go! We have a few months to go but the kids are already starting to attempt to plan.
