Loving Life

This month’s theme for Create Your Year hosted by the ever fantastic Aimeeroo, is Loving Life. Since I have not been feeling myself lately, I found myself looking at the end of the month wondering how I would express the theme.
Flickr Toys to the rescue! Not my most creative work, but when I think about Loving Life at the moment, I think about my amazing husband and the journey we have been one. Coming the the US has been hard on me. I am a sweet, Canadian girl and California tried to eat me alive! I stood my ground and was determined to enjoy life here. Now with a few good friends and having gone on many amazing adventures, I can honestly say I am Loving Life.
I am so excited that we will be welcoming our second child soon. Becca has brought so much joy and love into our world. I had no idea becoming a parent would be this fantastic. Now last night as we were trying to convince Becca to sleep in her own bed and this morning when she woke us at 6 am, I may have had less to say about being a parent. But those moments are always quite to fade, replaced by special moments looking at the rats at the pet store, explaining that Mommy does not want to live with rats and that they need to stay at the pet store with their friends!
After losing our baby last year and recovering from that, I was determined to get to that point where I was Loving Life again. With J by my side I feel like I can do anything, be anyone and see everything. I know he is totally worried about future work, interviews and getting us back to Canada. Yes, it would be nice to know where we are moving to in a few short months, but honestly I am happy knowing that he will be there, Becca will be there and Ethan will be there.
Loving Life for me is experiencing it with my awesome husband, amazing daughter and soon to be introduced son. Wow. We are going to have a son. That is so totally cool. That is Loving Life.

That is a great picture and I’m so very glad that you’ve survived the US and California… and conceived a baby here!! What a great souvenier to remember your times here!! LOL
Love the photo and this entry is beautiful.
You have so many reasons to be loving life ~ good for you for seeing them!
Oh I just love your reprentation of the theme! Photos and words, all coming together… well done.
I LOVE the picture/use of Flickr toys! You always seem to say things so eloquently and I am so happy that despite not feeling well, you are still loving life!
I love that picture…Too cute.
You are both so beautiful.
Enjoy that little life inside of you…if anything teaches you about loving life…its that feeling!!!!
I’m glad you’re loving life–but to be honest, I was grateful for the “not very grateful” entry, too. Some says you just don’t feel perky, or grateful, or anything particularly happy at all, and this was pretty much one of them for me. It’s good to see both sides coming from you, too!
I’m glad to hear that you are loving life! It helps to focus on what’s going RIGHT in your life and you have much this is right and good.
Thanks for commenting on my wavering post. I appreciate your support.
Wow! What a great post! To say that you will be content whereever J, Becca and Ethan are is an amazing reality! Enjoy the magic kingdom tomorrow! Only 5 days to your baby shower!!!
Awww… that was awesome & I like the pic too.
I think last night was a bad night for kids, mine was up about 5 times too. Hope tonight is better.
Wonderful post, and I love that picture!
Gorgeous post. Pregnancy is hard and tiring and it’s sometimes hard to be totally happy while you’re pregnant! And it’s also hard being away from home - I’m so glad you’ve found ways to be happy!
Loving the picture of you guys. You have such an amazing attitude about thins and especially your move! Although we only moved 2 provinces away from family it was hard and here you are a country away you have such strenght girl!! I found the move gave (me atleast) a new perspective on our marriage/relationship and it has been good for us that way.
Take care and have a great time on your mini vacation (have I told you how jealous I am as we sit her at a blamy -17 BRRRRRR)
I am so happy for your entire family…
And IT IS A WONDERFUL LIFE!
And it makes me smile just knowing that you are ‘in ‘mine!
What a great post Chelle! I’m glad to hear you’re back to Loving Life again!
I was thinking, I wonder how long it is until Ethan arrives and I look at the ticker thing on the side and see you’re 32 weeks! OHMIGOSH… that has gone quick. Can’t wait to meet him. So many people keep on telling me how cool having another child is, how it’s easier and more relaxed and more fun. The first time was great… how awesome is #2 gonna be!
Great post and i love the picture
Sorry I was missing again! My computer needed a trip to the “spa” ; ) now I’m back and I have a new blog! Go check it out when you have time! I need your vote on bridal jewelry!
I’m loving that movie picture! Thanks for the intro to flickertoys - now just need some time to get creating.
Great post!
One of the things I love about visiting your blog is seeing how happy families and couples can be together. I read so many bad news out there and it always brings me down, and yours make me believe even more so that I already believe on how much our husband and children are the foremost important people that we really need around us. Without them, I cannot possibly imagine living.
Ethan will be here sooner than you think.
I adore this post. Your coming attactions poster is awesome! I’m so happy for you.
I am so thrilled for you at how far you have come since the loss of your baby. You inspire me to keep looking ahead. And to be grateful for what I have.
No rats at home. I like your standards.
Great piece. Keep lovin’ life. You bring such joy for us all.
Congratulations, blessings and boisterous laughter for all your days!
A boy! How awesome!
Awww how sweet! I can’t wait to join you, loving life with my husband by my side and my kids in tow. Don’t get me wrong, I am loving life now with my husband by my side, I am just not towing kids yet..
Hopefully soon!
