Feeling the Love

Feeling the Love

Becca the Artist at it Again!Pic of the Day ~ Becca the Artist at it Again! ~

Not sure if it comes through on the photo, but Becca gets a terrible red rash every time she eats tomatoes (or sauce!). Yet she loves the stuff (her favorite really) and does not have any other ill effects … It looks sore but she says it does not hurt or itch?!?!

Thanks for all the kind comments. I am still not feeling completely better but not as bad as yesterday either.

I thought these days, weeks, months would go by so slow. There were times that I wish somehow we could fast forward to the good parts and forgo the rest. However, the exact opposite is true. The days are flying by, ending before I even realize they have begun.

I am aware that I maintain a busy lifestyle. At first it was out of homesickness and depression that I forced myself out of the house with Becca. Desperate to see the beauty in Southern California, rather than all the ugliness that was surrounding me. Along the way we met amazing, wonderful people that make my days so awesome. The friends I have made here are totally stellar women!

This busy lifestyle has left little time for me to think about things. During the quiet moments (like with painful headaches) I reminded that we have yet to make any decisions about our future location (mostly due to the fact we are waiting for others to make decisions that will potentially change ours – how cryptic is that?!?!)  It is so hard to be in limbo as we are, yet we just have to wait it out.

While we are waiting it out the pending due date of our second child is coming. I have so much to do! I find the more I try to do, the less I actually get done. How is this possible? I did get a few things done today, but with a lie down in the afternoon it is not long before the day is over … Thank goodness for some Veronica Mars to allow me to veggggg out and not think, except in awe that the writers are ever so witty!  Wow I am rambling … Good thing you made it through that because next are ways you can win cool stuff!

Oh there are a few contests I wanted to share with you! Aimee is hosting  a little contest to promote her new site and Scribbit is hosting another Write Away contest. As always The Opinionated Parent has some cool contests too! (Although really you do not want to enter those and reduce MY chances of winning! hehehe) Make sure to check them out and enter!

Ok now off to vegggg out! Toodles!

I never did get into Veronica Mars, but I do have my veg out show-American Idol. I can’t stop watching! Though i got very angry today because they were really mean.

  3. Rebecca says:

    Enjoy your rest!

  4. Janet says:

I love that picture. What an artist!

I have never watched Veronica Mars…Reality TV on VH1, yes. Series shows, no.

  5. viamarie says:

Take it easy Chelle. Pregnancy can really cause a lot of emotional swings. You’ll get over it soon.

It’s nice to see Becca painting. God to start her young.

    (((Hugs)))

  6. Jenny says:

    Rest, rest, rest.

    You deserve it.

PS. Hailey gets the tomatoe rash too. Go figure.

  7. Michelle says:

Thanks for the mention. And every time I type in your security word I’m assuming you really have a thing for sushi? :)

  8. Rebecca says:

Poor little rashy Becca. I’m glad that you’ve found ways to be happy where you’re living – that’s so important!

  9. Marz says:

One of my nieces has the same side effects when eating anything tomatoe which includes ketchup but fortunately it doesn’t itch either.
I know, the days just fly by so fast. Ethan will be here before you know it.

  10. Thanks for the plug!

That tomato rash is very very common. I’ve had many kids in my classes who get it. It almost never itches or causes any other problems. I think it may be related to the acid content?

  11. Kris says:

Have you ever had Becca tested for allergies? It could be a citrus allergy. That is what happens to my friend when ever she eats tomatoes or any sauces.

  12. Overwhelmed! says:

Great picture of Becca! Snuggle Bug loves painting at his easle too, although I usually make him do it outside. :)

Thanks for stopping by to see my WFMW Valentine’s Day advice & ideas post. I do appreciate it!

  13. He he…rest assured that I wouldn’t be your competitor, I’m too lazy to join the contest :)

  14. Phoebe says:

Is it just me or is your virtual belly growing as fast as your real one. Really love your graphic of that. Still throwing around ideas and WILL get them together soon to start my chelle-revamp.
