Ramblings of a Somewhat Sane Pregnant Woman
Pic of the Day ~ Becca and Daddy at the Zoo ~
We had a wonderful time at the zoo. It was a beautiful family outing (although quite exhausting for all three of us!). The animals were all out and active since the weather was cool and refreshing. Becca proclaims that the Elephants and Giraffes were her favorites this trip.
Grrr! Upgrading to Wordpress 2.1 has given me troubles! This is a much bigger upgrade than I had thought and broke things I liked around here. Grrr! Now I am going to have to try to find the time to play around with things to get them back the way I like them! Grrr!
Speaking of blog maintenance. I have been terrible at the upkeep of the Blogroll. Please, if you stop by here and comment and do not see your site on the right there under the Blog Links, let me know. I am usually good about returning comments (rarely email sorry I get over 100 emails a day), and since I use a RSS reader, Ti’s easy to get lazy. But I want to honour your blog, celebrate your writing and give you some linky love, so let me know if you are missing. Thanks!
Today, we joined some Mom’s for Book Club. Always nice to spend time with them and chat while our kids learn all about playing, sharing, stealing, pushing and drums! hehe! Next month’s book looks so promising I look forward to receiving it from Amazon.
Tomorrow I have made a promise to myself not to have any commitments. This has been a difficult promise to keep, longing to make social or other commitments, however so far we are free to have a Pajama Day! Hopefully I can follow through. It is funny this nesting instinct has me twirling with thoughts … Well this could be my last day, week, month before Ethan demands to make his appearance … So I have been constantly on the go, which has in turn kept me so busy I cannot think of the things that could potentially be stressing me out! It is all good. And beside five hours at a Zoo that is all up hill has to be great preparation for labour … no?

I hope you can enjoy a nice relaxing pyjama day tomorrow. You definitely need to start taking it easy though. I’m not sure where the heck you get your energy from (lol, I know I’ve said this before).
Yeah! Let’s all hear int for pajama day. I agree with Marz, I don’t have half the energy you have- you are amazing!!
Love PJ days
Look at her with the zoo map!!!!
I can’t take it.
And PJ days…Hellooooo?? at least once a week here in house of Stinkfoot. You are more than welcome anytime…it’s so much fun.
Before little Ethan arrives spend as much time with Becca as you possibly can! PJ days are a great way to do that! When that new baby arrives everythiing will be crazy for a while!! Take advantage of those pj days while you can!
OK…why the comment I just submitted did not show up I’ll never know.
However, I was saying that I can’t wait to see Ethan and watch him grow up like I’ve watched Becca grow up! I had so much energy with Steven it was great! I’ve never been a mom to slow down though, you can’t you’ve got to keep up with those kids!
The occasional pj day is so nice! Have fun with your bookclub!
Um, that comment was from me, Beck at Frog and Toad. I have no idea why it showed up like that!
A PJ day sounds cool! I’m on strike tomorrow but have to go to the opticians so I’m not sure PJs would be appropriate! Put your feet up!
I’m almost scared to update my blog lol, to many freaking plugins
I lurve PJ days!
Maybe I should hold off on the WP upgrade until you tell me it’s safe…ya think?
Psst psst Chelle you just got tagged
I haven’t wanted to upgrade yet because so many people are having little problems and I am just barely getting used to the way things work as it is!
Have a very happy PJ day tomorrow!
I read a bit before upgrading and found I had to disable all plugins and do a backup and then upgrade. Course, I did the one click upgrade via fantastico. Is it plugins giving you trouble? My favorite photo one isn’t working with this version of WP so I’ve been waiting for the developer to update it…hopefully they will anyway!
I Love, love, love pajama days!! Enjoy it!!
I’m so glad to hear that things are going so well and that you are feeling so fantastic!! I hope Becca’s poor tummy is better!!
Sounds like it was a fun day at the zoo! A day with no committments is always nice! What book are you reading next month for the book club?
your backpack that Becca is riding in on J’s back… what one is it? have you been happy with it? I think we need one for our little wriggler.
