Pic of the Day ~ It Made Sense to The Kids ~
Becca and I spent the day at a friend’s house yesterday. Becca kept up and had a blast with her friend (who is four so kudos to Becs for keeping up!) While the kids ran about, playing, investigating and keeping (mostly) out of trouble, Holly and I dyed YARN! It was SO COOL!
We used the kool-aid method and it totally worked and it was an amazing experience. I can hardly wait to knit this all up so I can DYE MORE! I am a knitting addict. I officially have FOUR projects on the go, a hundred on a waiting list, going to participate in a co-op to buy wool AND I am doing a knit-along! Is there Knitting Anonymous?!
After a long day of dying, chatting and tea drinking I was totally exhausted. The kids were totally totally tuckered out. Becca’s friend fell asleep at the supper table and slept till morning! Becca zonked out in the car then slept through the night till 7:30!
Even today Becca had over a three hour nap! We had friends stop by and she slept right through their visit! Crazy kid!
Thank you so much for all the feedback yesterday. We are going to try everything we can to help Becca through this stage. Even if that means a night light eventually. I just want her to be reassured and confident as well have a wicked imagination.
I have so much more to say, but this yarn is crying to be knitted …. will blog soon ….

Happy New Year!! I just noticed that your EDD is two days before J`s birthday. Maybe our sons will share birthdays, just two years apart! THAT would be cool!!!
Knit away sister…Happy you have something that tickles you…Enjoy it.
Let me be super pro-nightlight – my children have ALWAYS found them so comforting.
oooh that yarn looks cool. I can’t wait to see what it will look like once knitted.
Let me just say how handsome that blue buckethead is . . .
First…I LOVE Jack Johnson…he rocks! And you are so making me want to knit and I’ve never knitted a thing in my whole life! I’m seriously going to have to check into it!
