Love the new look! I love all of your themes.

We had problems with Ben and going to bed too. What worked for us (just a suggestion) was a couple of things.

1. Let him pick out a cool nightlight. We used a colored bulb (can get blue or pink @ Target) to keep the light low. Also made sure (through trial & error) to get a nightlight that didn't give off too much light.
2. Established a firm and constant bedtime routine.
3. Created a chart (printed off a calendar from computer) where we drew a smiley face, star, dinosaur, whatever, every time he stayed in bed. Made a HUGE deal out of it - cheered, called grandma & grandpa, blah, blah, blah. When he got three in a week, we took him to the dollar store and let him pick out anything he wanted.

It took about a month, but it finally started working. And honestly, there were a few times that we hung out with him until he was as close to asleep as possible. Or even asleep. Hey, we're human. ;)

P.S. You make me want to be a computer nerd in the worst way. My attempts are fun, but yours ROCK!

I think you seriously contribute to us eating sushi much more frequently than we ever have ; )

I know I'm sick but sometimes I actually wish I could put Leah to bed with us on occasion just because I want to be close to her, but then I know that would be opening a whole can of worms, so I don't. Plus Tim says NO WAY every time I get that look in my eyes.

You're not alone, sister. I feel your pain.

I'll pour you a (virgin) cocktail if you get me a valium.

I can totally sympathize with you. I remember sleep issues and kids crawling into my bed. I remember being more tired with my second, third and fourth pregnancy too. Everything just seemed so overwhelming. I'm amazed that you can get anything done.

Oh my goodness! I remember a whole week when my middle one wouldn't sleep. I was pregnant with my youngest and I swear I started wondering if I would ever sleep again. But we turned him around eventually. Hugs! You'll get her sleepin' at the right time I hope I hope soon for you!

I am glad to see that you are getting some knitting time, I am sure it relaxes you.

I hope the sleeping gets easier for Becca. She could be sensing the changes that are about to come. Be patient and I am sure it will work out.

I wonder if it's just a toddler thing with the bedtime. I have absolutely no trouble with Kayla's naptime...she rarely gets back out of bed once she's down for a nap and is usually asleep within minutes. Nighttime has become quite the battle. She was put to bed at 830 and now it's 10:00 - I think she is FINALLY asleep. This is after numerous times of both Joe and I going back to her room and putting her back in bed, telling her not to get out of bed, it was time to sleep etc. 5 minutes later she's hanging out in her doorway. She's not throwing a fit or crying or anything, or playing with toys (except her babydolls) she just won't stay in bed. Sorry I had no actual advice for you - just wanted to let you know you are NOT alone with the nighttime frustration!
