It is all Good
Pic of the Day ~ Our Geek in Training ~
Phew! We have been busy beavers here. With J taking this week off there has been a ton of stuff that I have wanted to get accomplished. I never imagined we would get it all done! I am looking forward to the vacation being over so I can get some rest!
Trish mentioned focusing on setting up a nursery for the baby. I so would love to do that, really. However, since our future is so in the fog at the moment, there will be no nursery in California for the baby. He will sleep in our room in his own little nook (which I do plan on sprucing up!) So it is a bummer, however I do have a lot of things to look forward to.
It is also J’s 30th birthday next month. He wants nothing fancy, just a low key family affair, which is cool.
My friend JoAnne is going to host a shower for me in February which is REALLY exciting for me. I did not have a shower when we had Becca. Family and Friends were extremely generous but I did not get the rite of passage part. I even had a pity party for one last month being all sulky about it. It is good now and I am uber thrilled that I will have a shower this time.
I have a few knitting projects on the go. I finished Becca’s pants and another set of the UGG Booties. I am working on the baby blanket and will be starting some new stuff in the New Year.
There is a new season of Fafarazzi that has started. We had our live draft, now we just have to watch out for our Celebrities! In case you are wondering, Fafarazzi is like a Fantasy Football League but for scandalous celebrities instead. My pal Betty has me totally hooked!
I also signed up for “Create Your Year” hosted by Aimee. I spotted the year long meme at
Becca is totally enjoying her new gear and toys she received for Christmas. However I am thinking her Daddy is enjoying some of them as well …. And he thought I would not post THIS because his Mommy reads the blog … Muwahahaha! He really should know that nothing is safe if you live with a blogger! hehehe!

HAHAH! Are our husband’s related?
My kids totally should wear that shirt, too. I demanded a shower in my third pregnancy because I’d been pregnant for three out of the past six years and I wanted punch and presents. My best friend very nicely threw me one.
Oh my gosh that is so funny the msg with the frige magnets!! LOL Kayla has those too and now that gives me an idea!
Love the images of your little one and … well, the “hump.”
Hmm. You are giving me an idea. My 1-year old got ABC fridge magnets this Christmas …
Have a great year ahead.

I am totally cracking up…bwahahahaha. It isnt even hump day!
Don’t you love when they do something so silly that you can totally embarrass them on the blog..he he he
I love it. Good thing Becca can’t read yet…tee hee.
LMAO on the fridge magnets!!
sounds like you will be quite the busy beaver upcoming year.
I’m glad you’re having a shower. Bad me never even thought about throwing you one last time, I guess because I was just too focused on myself. Sorry about that.
So J is turning 30. Big step but it’s not all that bad, lol.
Lol!!! My husband likes to do that with our alphabet magnets too.
J is definately hilarious…letters are a necessary evil espically with the older one get a hold of them. Becca is growing up so fast it’s amazing!
LOL! I love the t-shirt, and the alphabet magnet thing is just too funny. And oh so romantic.
J’s such a young pup. I’m a little envious!
We love our fridge phonics! I spell crazy things for the BG on his beer fridge regularly, but I haven’t used that one yet. Thanks for the idea, J! (Good thing Betty Ann has a good sense of humour!)
Did you get my email? You’re a winner!
I am seriously dying for you guys to pick a boy name already. Does the health of my nervous system mean nothing to you?
I think that must be in that old “Y” chromosome LOL, He could be paraphrasing my DH.
LOL that is hillarious…
Feb. Nooo . . . How’s a girl supposed to finished her DH’s sweater? Love the magnets. There’s a reason they keep getting put away in this house as Jamie learns to read and say, “What’s that mean?”
Just realized I invited myself to your shower. How very bold of me. Feel free to unvited me
I know how you feel! We didn’t have a shower for Samuel since we were moving and didn’t want any gifts to tote around, although our friends and family were generous to us as well (in fact, I’m leaving some behind for our next little one!). Samuel hasn’t had his own room yet either. In Cali he might, depending on apartment availability. But I’ve got to say that it’s been nice having him in our room…especially during night feedings! Oh, Love the boots! I’ll have to get the pattern sometime soon…we fly in on Wednesday night! Eeek btw
