Pic of the Day ~ Becca in Bug’s Land!
Now that the entire household is back on our feet, it was time to catch up with laundry and household stuff. I really really dislike getting behind on stuff like that. So as a reward for getting it all done, Becca and I ran away to Disneyland on Monday!
It was our first trip back since our last fateful trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Sadly, I have to admit I was terrified on that freeway!! Yet we made it and Becca and I had a fabulous day! We hit a few rides that are her favorites, like the Dumbo ride, then went over to California Adventure to hang out in Bug Land. Bug Land is a huge water park with rides, and it was HOT out so it was a nice relief from the heat.
Today was errand grocery shopping day. Becca’s glasses needed adjusting as well and she got her hair trimmed a little too. I was so jealous! I need a hair trim so bad! However with my alone time, I go knitting with the gals instead!
I really have the knitting fever! I go out with these ladies and come home all energized and excited! At the moment I have some yarn and I am making a really long rectangle, practicing the stitches that I am learning along the way. I figure Becca will love having a long scarf to wrap to around her animals! One of my fellow knitters has directed to a pattern for a sweater for Becca that I am going to try once I use up this yarn!! I am so EXCITED (and such a nerd eh? hehe love it).
PS I almost forgot…The OB Appointment I was so eagerly looking forward to was canceled for tomorrow and rescheduled till Tuesday! Arg! One more week!
I love knitting, it is soo soothing. I have knittied blankets for both of the boys. Well I am still working on Harry’s but the end is near. I want to try hats next.

so glad things are back to normal on your side of the world. do you still have passes to the happiest place on earth? i really want to get some passes, i had the most amazing time there. i want to back, again and again and again and well….you get where i’m going with this right

Knitting and traffic have always intimidated me ;)I used to cross stich a lot, but gave it up because of the kids, there was never enough time.

I did not know know that California Adventure has a water park. I missed that when I was there two summers ago!
