Out for the Count
Pic of the Day ~ Becca on a Sunnier, Happier Day

Not long after I posted the new theme and Friday’s post, J started to feel ill. I was chatting on the phone with my cousin when I started to feel icky. By midnight both J & I were moaning and complaining of upset stomachs. J spent the majority of the night at the goddess, while I tossed and turned trying not to toss my cookies. J was thankfully in slightly better condition than I (although not by much) and stayed up (snoozing off and on) with Becca while she watched even more television. I remained in bed passed out till noon, when I got up took a sip of water then threw up until there could be nothing possibly left in my system. While Becca napped J & I both crashed. I thank the heavens above that this was a 24 hour bug. I am not sure J & I could handle another hour of being ill and place a toddler in the mix….pure hades…ugh! I hate being sick.
So with an entire day gone, I have a raging headache from not eating. I woke up in the middle of the night last night to eat a banana just to quiet my stomach. J & I really need
to time our illness so we can each be babied will sick! Oh, in my sick stupor I posted comments all over the blogosphere, please if they do not make sense or sounds a little off, forgive me! I wanted to catch up, feeling bad that I was behind and always appreciating your support. Your comments really make my day (Hi, My name is Chelle and I am a blog Nerd) so I hate not to be there for you, and somehow it made sense in between trips to the bathroom to read blogs.
While feeling down and out for the count, I did read this article on Blogging Baby that made me feel a little happy! I have been reading a lot about diet and nutrition during pregnancy. In fact later this week I have a book review to share with you that I hope will be more enjoyable to read than our weekend of deathly illness.

Oh - does that ever suck!
Hope you’re feeling better soon…
Love that article…good news!
ohhhhhh chocolate–yummy
hope you’re feeling better real soon.
i’m really excited about the baby
I’m so sorry to hear both of you were sick like that! It does such to be sick at the same time - no one to take care of you! Glad to hear it was only a 24-hr bug though!
Sorry you aren’t feeling well. That’s a bummer. Good new about the chocolate though!
This is my FAVOURITE theme of yours yet. It looks totally awesome Chelle. Good Job.
Oh my I am so sorry you guys are ill and even more so your vomiting. I hate throwing up. ick!
BTW I love love love the new theme. The colors are perfect. To cool! You are one talented woman!
Eww. It bites being sick while you’re pregnant. My family went through that a few months ago; first the toddler got sick, then we all went down.
When you feel better, you might try a little yogurt; the enzymes really help the digestion. Hope you’re feeling better!
YUCK!! Sounds like a nightmare of a weekend! I am glad you are all on the mend though! BTW, I really like the new colours and layout but I have to admit I was a big fan of the other one as well!
Hope you are all feeling better soon. It really sucks when the whole family is out of comission. Take care!
Wow…I love the new blog-do !!! I think this is by far my favorite.
Anyway, I hope you feel better soon and thank you for that article link. Also, I think you will enjoy the video I just posted in my blog.
So sorry you’re having such sick moments during this pregnancy. Feel better soon, okay?
I love this new blog design. Very swank!
Oh, and thanks for your comment on my My first attempts at a home movie post! Yes, I like Barenaked Ladies music.
Thanks for dropping by.
sorry about the queasiness - that’s a bummer.
Cheers to you and yours
Shane
I hope that you both feel better soon. A simmilar thing happened to us a few days after Evan got out of the hospital from his stroke. He started puking and I of course was out of my head with worry because his cardiologist had told us not to let him get dehydrated. Then my husband puked in the car on his way home from work a day later so I took Evan who had finally stopped puking a ton to Target to pick up some sick supplies and ended up loosing it in the Target bathroom. A nice lady held Evan for me while I heaved my guts out. Even more horrifying was that all of this happened a few days before we were supposed to fly to my parent’s house for Christmas. It was no fun having Christmas while recovering from a bug.
Hope you guys are better. You are amazing, blog hopping in between trips to the loo and while you are sick?
Sorry you feel like doodie. Hope youa re getting back to normal!!How’s Becca?
Poor baby! I hate it when that happens. Like you’re chained to the toilet.
In happier news though…I LOVE your new look! It’s awesome!
I’m glad you, J and Becca are feeling better!! It’s so hard trying to be sick when you have a toddler running around!! And I can’t remember the last time I got to actually just be sick…seems like moms aren’t allowed…we just have to keep going despite our illnesses!!
There is not much worse than being sick and having to take care of a toddler. I hope you and J are feeling better soon.
Tht is a cute picture of Becca!
i hope you all will get fine asap!
I hope you are feeling better. Love love the new template!
so glad you are feeling better and the new little one is making their presence known… the joys of pregnancy. As much as you hate it, don’t you love it! I honoest didn’t mind the sickness.. now the other thing - that wasn’t so pleasant..
Ugh!! So sorry to hear that you’ve all been ill…I’ve been trying to comment on the post about Becca’s eyes and keep getting an error for some reason. Hoping this one goes through…sooooo happy to hear about the canceled surgery!!!! Oh, and I like the new theme a lot!!
Oh, I’m so dumb. I was forgetting to type in sushi before. I bet that was the problem. DUH!
Oh no! I sure hope you’re all feeling better. Yuck, nothing worse then both of you sick at the same time. How horrible.
Hey, Chelle!
Thanks for your comment on my Active Family post! Swimming and hiking sound like great ways to remain active! Good for you!
Whoa…
This is beautiful!!!!
Beautiful new look my dear!!!!
I hope yo are feeling better…Pregnant and sick… Not a good combination…
Be good to yourself!
Let your family take care of you!
Becca looks just BEAUTIFUL
Wouldn’t it be great if there were like a sickness limit per household? One person at a time. Haha. One can dream, no?
Awww, I hope you feel better soon and don’t get it again.
There is a site that I go on every so often, {ok alot!} and it is called http://www.babyfit. com and it gives you recipes that are VERY nutritious and very LOW in fat. They are wonderful. It is a site for preggo women to get a little extra help on eating healthy and keeping fit!! Hope this helps!
Why is it that moms never get to be the only one sick in the house? SOOOO unfair. Sorry about your illness!
