Pic of the Day ~ Becca Enjoying the Park

First off, thank you all ever so much for the blog love and to those that continued the warm and fuzzies all weekend. If I have not been to our blog to spread the warm and fuzzies, it is merely a time constraint issue, not a lack of love issue.
We here at the Soodz corral had a quiet, low key weekend. I am aware that most people found the heat wave we experienced a little extreme, however now it is on the chilly side! We had intended on hitting the beach, but the temperatures there were even cooler!
Becca enjoyed watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse again this weekend. I am very content to allow her to watch the TV on weekends only. It makes me feel like I am making an effort to broaden her experiences during the week, since I have the opportunity to do so. While she was happily watching her program or playing blissfully with her toys, I work my fanny off on some designs.
I finally completed enough of Nic’s design to send her a pre-copy to look over. Once we work out all the tweaks and twigs, I am looking forward to her finally having a custom design to call her own. Afterwards, I had time to do some digital sketches, designing and general goofing around. It felt so good to bum around. The next few weeks are going to be busy so it was peaceful to have this weekend.
We took Becca swimming both afternoons, despite the frigid temperatures (talk about climatization!) J also took her to the park this morning. They had a great time, especially since it had been a while due to the hot weather (I am just never satisfied am I?!) I think Becca appreciated sticking close to home for a couple days, after being so busy most of the week. I know I sure enjoyed a little quiet time, because now I am itching for another adventure!

I love lazy days at home too. They are especially nice after a long period of crazyness.
It’s always fun to be lazy~
Thank you so much for the love on my blog. Your blog always shows how much love you have for your family. From the first day I read your blog, I was HOOKED. I look forward to reading about Becca’s adventures. She is such a loved girl. Looking forward to meeting you real soon. We’ll have a blast-even if it’s to get some ice cream.
What a great pic of her enjoying the swing!
It’s always nice to do something for yourself, glad you were able to stay home and do just that!
Queens of Lazy unite!
Some days it just feels good.
Love that sa–wiing picture is having a ball.
Glad you had some time to relax. Recoup. Thank you also for the love you sent my way. It made me smile..smooch.
Thanks Chelle for the warm fuzzy you left on my blog. I wish I had more time to spread some around.
Great swing picture!
Thanks for the warm fuzzy – it was nice! I really am enjoying your blog, too -Becca’s so cute. I let my kids watch tv every day, but in small amounts. My older two need more down time than they’ll acknowledge, so a little tv break mid-afternoon let’s them have a rest while keeping their dignity!
I like lazy days and going to the park, too. We are in Texas, so we mainly only go to the park in the Spring and Fall and warm winter days. This time of year it’s just too hot to do much of anything outside…except swim!!
Great pic! Thanks for the warm fuzzy at my place. I’ve been too busy to get to it yet but I will – just late!
