Pic of the Day ~ Another Pic of Becca in the Mountain Stream
Some days when Becca and I are not doing something wild and crazy, I feel like I am going to let you all down. Today we were boring really. I was tired, Becca was tired.
We went to browse our local bookstore only to discover they CLOSED, like forever! I was so disappointed. Becca was beside herself with concern, “No Books? Bookstore…Closed?!?!” Poor kid 
. We did go to the University bookstore so I could get a trashy, non-brain boosting, plain old novel. They had little to chose from so I bought The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Yes I am aware that it is a teenager coming of age story and I am well a decade or so away from being a teenager. I really enjoyed the movie and it was the author’s first book, so I thought it would be a great addition to the bookshelf. What I really need to do is start a list like Nic has…
Tomorrow I am going on a new-to-me adventure. I think I have mention my friend JoAnne on occasion 
, well it is her birthday tomorrow. I will be taking her to an amazing little spa for the day (well paying to get in anyway…the rest she is on her own!! hehe!) I am a day spa virgin, so it will be interesting. We are going for coffee then magazine shopping before hitting the spa. J is going to spend the day with Becca while I soak in mud and natural springs!!! I feel so special and lush! It has been a while since I have been pampered (my last birthday in Canada J set me up with a pedicure and manicure!) I am really looking forward to the experience!

I hated it when my local bookstore closed. Now I go to B&N regularly…Read “The Pact” by Jodi Picoult…A great and fast read. Sad, expecially for a mom of a daughter. But interesting and quick. It’s about teen suicide.
Have a great time at the spa. I am a true ’spa-slut’. I love going to get rubbed and soaked and pampered. They must think I’m some kinda loser. I’m there all the time.

I highly recommend the reading list - feel free to borrow from my list. It’s so much easier than browsing for hours you don’t have. Does your local library allow you to order books online to be placed on hold for you?

Have you heard of Sippy cups aren’t for chardonnay? HILARIOUS and quick read. Well, that’s what I’ve been told. It’s still waiting to be read by me. I so need to do that.

I admire that you entertain us with every adventure that you and your family are on. Some days are meant to be quieter. It’s never disappointing.
