Pic of the Day ~ Becca & her Grandpa R!
*yawn* Today was a great day, but very long! My Dad was still working so I took the opportunity to complete his birthday present. It is not until next weekend, but today was the perfect day to do it. Most people would not volunteer to do what I did, especially on their vacation!
Yup, I cleaned my Dad’s bathrooms. He is a bachelor and although he is a great housekeeper and has an amazing flair for decorating for a straight guy 
. Yet, isn’t it everyone’s wish for someone to come in a clean?!?! I know I would not complain!
We received a wonderful surprise right before lunch! My cousin Trina stopped by to see if we were free for lunch! We all went out and had great food, and awesome conversation. She is expecting her first child this summer!! We are so excited for her. She is also the cousin that took my beloved dog to her beautiful farm. Next week Becca and I are going there for a visit to visit, see the nursery, the farm animals and of course SIDNEY!!!
While Becca & her Daddy took a nap, my Grandma came over with German Chocolate Cake!! We chatted while we waited for the cuties to wake up. That is the second day in a row Becca has taken a 3.5 hour nap!! J & I prepared dinner together, while Becca played and we visited with Grandma.
Just as dinner was ready for to be taken to the table, my Dad arrived back from work. After a great dinner (and desert!), Grandma headed home and we all went outside to enjoy my Dad’s huge yard. Becca loves to have the ball thrown and she will retrieve it (eases the pain of not having a dog ). We spent the entire evening outside, exploring and fooling around. It was so nice.
Becca was so happy that was my Dad was back. She enjoyed his company all evening. She giggles so much when he is around. He tickles her, talks to her and totally challenges her! She loves it! It is so awesome to experience!
A couple people have asked when I will be returning home…It is so sweet that you miss me 
! J is returning this Sunday, while Becca and I will be heading back May 9th. My Dad’s birthday is on the 7th, and although he will have to work, we wanted to spend some extra time here with him.
Tomorrow my Dad is taking us to his train station so we can see the trains and I think he even said go on ONE!!!
I think cleaning the bathroom is an awesome gift! I know I would love it! THat’s the job I hate the very most! lol! You’re a very sweet daughter!!!

Reading about your wonderful vacation is making me want to hop on a plane right now. I have to wait until November for our next trip back to the Prairies.
