Trains, Cars & Fish…
Pic Of the Day ~ Becca and her Great Grandma enjoying a good book!

Ok another crazy busy day!! Becca slept in, after waking both J and I at different times. The last time J snuggled up on her little bed with her and we all got to sleep in till 8am! Once we were all showered and ready, Dad took us down to his train station. Sadly there were no trains in the yard, however we went upstairs and received a tour, then went to another area to see an engine up close!
Afterwards, we picked up some supplies for the big BBQ tomorrow. All the family that is near by are coming over tomorrow afternoon. Good times!! Becca is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
In late afternoon, we took the car for the provincial inspection and all was great except the wheel alignment (hehe I guess all that puddle jumping caught up to us!) and then to register and insure it in Saskatchewan. Thankfully it went off without a hitch, they took our word on everything and all was set in 20 minutes!
My Grandma came over for a cedar smoked salmon dinner (oh my yummmmmmmy!) then we all went out to play in the backyard. We had such an awesome time!! Becca walked in the grass in BARE FEET and liked it!!
I am getting a little anxious and sad that J will be returning home in two days without us
. Since we started dating we have only been been apart for 5 days (and only twice) so a week and a half will feel like a lifetime! I am looking forward to staying longer and visiting with my Dad and Grandma.

You must have a whole scrapbook to fill up with all these memorable shots. Am sure Becca, J and you will miss all of it.
Have a nice trip back.
Wow! You all are having lots of fun and a long vacation. I want to vacation that long!
Oo, BBQ parties are FUN! I love a good BBQ. The Salmon sounds really good too. I think I am hungry.
You were smart to plan a long visit! You will miss J but the memories will be worth it - and it will create lasting bonds for Becca. You are a smart cookie!
Looks like you are having a fab vacation!! Looking at all the pictures is making me look forward to my trip home in the summer even more!!!
What a sweet picture of Becca with her Great Grandmother
