Big Bed…Big Moment…Big Girl

WOW! So Becca had a choice last night, sleep in her crib, OR sleep in her big bed….(drum roll please)….Becca slept in her big bed all night!!! I went in to check in on her before we went to bed & and she was sleeping sideways almost off the bed with her arms stretched out because pooh bear had fallen on the floor
My mantra today is “Do not vaccuum…Do Not Vaccuum”….You see my body is still feeling the after effects of the miscarriage and when I am doing too much I get cramps from HELL! So I am lying on the couch looking down at the Cheerios that are ground into my carpet…And I am chanting “Doooo Nooot Vaaacccuuummm”. I really really really (really really) want to be ok for Vegas this weekend. So on with my chanting….
I am not one to be ok with emotion rollarcoasting…If I am going to be a bitch let it be consistent. If I am going to be sad, let me be sad. UGH! Poor J does not know if he should be sensitive, quiet or run for the hills. He is seriously a saint. *sigh* This is hard. However, I am getting through it. I read a blog today that was announcing a due date that was the same as ours would have been. I sat here crying like a baby. Nice blog, I am sure a great person, so NEVER going back
So yeah feeling yucky not feeling like cooking and totally wanting chinese but J and I have yet to find the perfect chinese place. So instead we ordered pizza online!! LOVE IT! PizzaHut.com I am such a geek!
Becca totally snuggled with me after her nap. It was wonderful to have her lying on me like she did when she was a baby. Anyone who has or had a toddler will testify that quiet moments like that are so cherished! I needed that!
Talked with my cousin Michelle today too! It was so nice to talk to her and let out some of the saddness. We chatted baby stuff too since she has a beautiful baby girl!
Ok so Betty at StaleBetty.comhad commented in a Meme that she cannot sleep with the closet door open because of fear of the Boogeyman. This reminded me of a little story….The other night J comes to me after Becca is in bed and says “Sorry that outfit is hanging on the door that way, I just did not want to leave it hanging on Becca’s change table, in case she thought it was a person and get freaked out”! What a sensitive Daddy! We have all been there. We look in the corner of a dark room and think we see someone there even for a split second! Oh how active the imagination is! YAY! For Becca’s Daddy saving her from the clothes monster
My body hurts…I am off to veg out!
Btw…Thanks Mom & Dad Masuda for the meal, it was a great break from cooking!

I had no idea that you could order pizza online! I remember seeing it on The Net, but I didn’t have a computer then and thought it was crazy. I CAN’T WAIT TO COME HOME!!!!!!

Woo hoo Becca!!! she’s becoming such a big girl, sleeping in her big bed & pooping on the potty. Awesome!!!
Nate, on the other hand, has been napping in his big boy bed but isn’t ready for the nights yet. He asks to sleep in it but as soon as he lies in it & I start to walk out of the room he freaks out. Maybe another week or so.
Good stuff.
Keep your chin up.
