Becca and I had a nice day today. We chilled out in the morning, playing and watching Dora. My kid is so in love with Dora. Everytime Becca sees Dora she says “Doooooorrrr” and gets all excited. Oddly, our lights keep flickering in our apartment. So J went to the office on his way to work and they said it was a short or something so someone is coming by tomorrow to fix it. Sucks, because that means Becca and I have to stay at home. LOL! That is what we have done the last few days since my Dad & Grandma left, however that was by choice We did go for a walk to the grocery store this afternoon, after Becca & I had a long nap

I was a GOOD friend today!!! I called our pals Christina and Tim and chatted wit them for a while. They are expecting their third child in a few weeks and by far are our favorite “couple” friends from back home. It was wonderful to catch up with their family news and all that jazz!

I also chatted with my good friend Marz tonight. She is always so uber supportive and sweet. I had bought yet another pregnancy test today at the store (can anyone say obsessed?) and once again the test came back positive. In fact the line indicating pregnacy showed up before the test line! I am so excited! Yet i am trying to be prepared in case the new doctor does the tests and it comes back negative, like the whacko doctor. I miss home! In Canada everything concerning healthcare is so simple. *sigh* Poor Poor Americans….I feel so sad that they have to live in such a crazy system. I assume it works for most people, or they would insist on the system changing no?

Ahhh…I am looking forward to snuggling up with my honey tonight and watching some mindless tv!

Phew! Ok so Becca and I spent the day cleaning and getting settled. I am still feeling like crap It totally sucks, however we have an appointment with an OB next week!! I am so excited to FINALLY know if we are indeed pregnant or not, and if what I am feeling is normal. I sailed throught the first two trimesters with Becca, it was not until my last trimester did everything go all haywirey!

I miss my Dad & Grandma already It is always a challenge to change your routines and have houseguests but it was all so worth it! Even though Becca had that nasty stomach flu, we really had a wonderful time having them here. It was exciting to share our adventures in California with people that are so special to us. Besides we had the opprotunity to go to DISNEYLAND!!! That seriously was a blast, even with the puking and diaherra

I am looking forward to the next week. Relaxing, getting back into the swing of things and preparing for Halloween! I have always been a huge fan of Halloween and all things scary. I love Stephen King books, scary movies and all things that make your hair stand on end! This year I am practically jumping out of my skin in anticipation of taking Becca out for a little trick or treating! Plus, it is so nioce here in California. Every Halloween in Canada, the kids have their snowsuits on underneath their costumes, because it never fails to snow on the day of CANDY! Hmmm….Becca doesn’t eat candy…..hehehe J & I will get it ALL! MUWAHAHAHA! Wait let’s be realistic….J will get most of it, I will feel guilty when I indulge then I will force him to take the remander to work! hehehe!

There is a new blogger on the block and I just have to quote her….When I read this I thought….How true!

I swore I’d never blog…..But it’s cheaper than therapy, so here I am.

Awww Sooo Saadddd My Dad & Grandma had their flight back to Canada today. Becca & I drove them to Palm Springs this afternoon I tell ya, I was so tempted to cling to my Dad and make him take us with him. Thing is I totally love my husband and would kinda miss him like crazy if I were to jump a plane to Canada.

My Dad totally made a connection with Becca while he was here. She had a blast chasing him around & being tickled by him! Becca would stick her foot out towards his face, so that he could convienently tickle her! Breaks my heart that it will months before she will have the opportunity to play with her Grandpa again

Once Becca and I made it home after our tearful good-bye, we vegged out on the floor watching mindless tv together and playing in between. I am still very tired and still fighting a cold so I am hitting the sack early again in hopes that soon I will feel back to my old self!

Phew! Another great day of visiting! Sadly, my Dad & Grandma will be departing tomorrow It has been so wonderfult o have them here! And Becca is just getting comfortable with them both. She plays so hard with my Dad! He chases her around the house and she just squeals with delight!

It appears that Becca is feeling better. No crazy poops or puking and her appetite has returned! YAY! The only crappy thing was her nap was cut short when the maintence people were mowing the lawn and totally woke her up

I am exhausted! Being a Hostess and a Mommy and a Wife is a tiring job! Sleep need sleep!

First, I would like to apologize for not letting you all know what was up this weekend! We all took off to Disneyland and left you all to worry why I had not updated the old blog! hehe Opps! I meant to blog while we were there, however I was plum tuckered out from the travelling, the sick kid and all the good old fashion fun in Disneyland!!!

Friday, Dad, Grandma, Becca & I vegged out and then prepared for our weekend trip to Anaheim! Becca was still a little off, but happy and playing so we figured she would be ok to head out to Disneyland. At 3pm, we drove over to the University to pick up J and then started the trek to Anaheim. We were cruising along the freeway, making great time in the Car Pool only lane, when J looked back at Becca….He Says “Ooo Becca doesn’t look so good…..” 15 Seconds Later, our sweet daughter is crying, covered in puke!!! Meanwhile I am stuck in the Car Pool lane….trying desperately to find a spot to get off the frikin Interstate! We finally pull off, pull into a parking lot and frantically attempt to clean up the vomit Not Fun! It is then, I discover we forgot to pack the wet wipes!!! We anxiously clean up the best we can and try to get back on the Interstate. By this point, weekend rush hour is in full-swing and it seems to take us forever to get to Anaheim. Phew….not the recommended way to start a weekend vacation!

My Dad booked us into the Hilton in Anaheim (Oooo Fancy I know I felt like a Princess!), so we pull up in our extremely sticky rented Mini Van, to the Valet parking dudes….They rush over to the van to promptly open our doors, only to TOTALLY STEP BACK WITH DISGUIST FROM THE SMELL~! All of us totally shrunk down in our seats with embarassment! It was seriously humilating, knowing they totally smelled PUKE!

We checked in and totally cleaned up! Then cruised down for a nice supper. By this time I am totally exhausted and we all crashed early, trying hard not to lose sleep with all the excitement of going to the park the next day!

hehe! Well we all got up early and prepared for a day at Disneyland! We had a blast! The day was long, our feet hurt and our backs ached, however we all were enchanted by the magic of Disney! Becca had the opprotunity to meet Winnie-The-Pooh!!! She was so excited!! She shook with excitement and was so smiling and “Oooooing”!! It totally warmed our hearts to see that joy on her face! My Dad & I went on Space Mountain!!! Totally FUN! We enjoyed lunch in New Orleans square (no flooding!) All in all the first day was great! Becca was still not feeling up to par though She did not eat or drink much at all, most of the day and was plagued by diaherra It sucked!

Sunday brought a new day for exploring the California Adventure Park (part of Disneyland!). Dad & I went on the Tower of Doom (totally fun!) Then we talked with “Crush” the toally rightous turtle from the movie “Nemo”…It was an interactive thing that was “cha” fun! We really enjoyed the adventure park! J & Dad went on a water raft ride, that broke down while they were on it 9all was fine just took a while!) Then Dad & I went on the rollarcoaster and another ride! Way Fun!! Becca was feeling MUCH better today, although still dogged with diaherra, not pukey and very active and happy! I have a ton of pictures I will share with you over the next few days!

Wow! Disneyland was AWESOME! We all had a wonderful time. We bought Becca some mouse ears (even with her name stitched on the back!) & a little Winnie in a fireman outfit as mementos! I purchased a sweater because it was uber cold the first day we were there (pfft where was the awesome California weather?!?!). I would love to take Becca back to Disneyland when she is older and can take it all in from a different perspective. My Dad is so cute….he is planning our next Disney Adventure for 2015!!! hehe….

Well I am beat and my Dad is itching to check on Canadian news! Again sorry to worry you all, I promise to let you know if we will be away next time! Thanks for letting me know you missed me Weeeee Disney Dreams!
