As I scrubbed the bathroom clean this morning, I thought to myself….”Self, do all stay at home moms do their house cleaning in their PJ’s?” Serously, why would one get dressed to clean? Unfortunately for me, the delaying of the shower meant no shower for me today Unexpectantly, our building’s water was shut off….*sigh* And tomorrow there is a planned water shut off So once I was good and stinky, Becca and I went swimming

I popped into There this afternoon. My old pal Brian IMed me and let me know everyone was heading inside. I was unable to stay too long, because of Becca and supper prep, but it was awesome to see the old gang again!

Becca does not have her usual appetite My Mom Theory is that her teeth are bugging her. One of the bottom molars popped through the other day, so chances are it is hurting like hell. Poor chica

Do you think they have a support group for Ebay Addicts? I keep looking for more deals, it is crazy

Oooo So I am thinking about joining a gym. There is one that is kind of near by (this a drive but not a 40 minute one), it is fairly priced and includes free child care! I am not sure how Becca would react being left with others. Hehe we have never tried it, except with her Grandma and Aunt and they so do not count, their family!!! I lost a little weight when I was going to Gym & Swim with Becca before we moved and would like to keep that movement of loss going! The idea is in stew mode

We had an uber busy day today! Right after breakfast, Becca and I headed outside to play! She had a blast climbing and swining on her playset. Meanwhile, I started cleaning the yard up, making it safe for Becca to play in. I sorta made a dent into the mess

After playing outside, we went to a couple garage sales. Funny thingis, we forgot to change Becca before we left. Half way there it dawned on us that she was sitting in the car seat in big overall (that were dirty from outdoor play!) and still in a cloth diaper!! We use cloth diapers at home but when we go out we always put her in a disposable diaper! Poor kid, her parents forgot to take care of her!!! Well no worries, she zonked out in the car seat, so J stayed in the car with her while I snooped through people’s stuff! Garage sale shopping is fun! I did not find much but it was a joy to snoop!

Once home we had a nice lunch then all went swimming! We all had totally a great time! J is totally not a good swimminer, but he is so cute! He is trying to learn to swim better and everytime we go swimming, there he is, plugging his nose with one hand and trying to dog pattle with the other!! Too cute!!

After swimming, Becca went for a nap, I house cleaned and J went grocery shopping. After supper I took Becca outside again! She had a blast! I talked to my sweet cousin Trina while Becca played.

I am completely exhausted!! Good Night

Phew! What a day! As you all know I was very excited to win the playset for Becca on Ebay. Well when I emailed the lady that was selling it, she noticed I had a blog link attached in my email, so she peeked at my blog and read about my excitement!

So J, Becca & I drove out to Los Angeles late this mornign to pick up! The lady was uber sweet and even threw in a little bike for Becca!! J took the playset apart and it all fit into our car perfectly.

We cruised home then hit a local mall that we had not yet explored. While there we purchased a cute pair of running shoes for our now wlaking toddler and a few other necessities! Once home, we had dinner and proceeded to set up the playset! I did not have the opprotunity to take any pics just yet, since it was dark by the time we had it all together! I am so sure we will have a ton of pics soon though! It is awesome condition and I am super happy with the purchase!

I am beat and going to go lounge in my new Victoria Secret PJ bottoms. I feel so cute and sexy in them!!! hehehe! Amazing how a name can change how you feel!

Ooo I am so excited! I have been on a mission to find an outdoor playset for Becca. I looked at new ones, however they all seemed uber expensive & not that much fun. So finally I thought of checking out Ebay & since we are in such a highly populated area, I found many options that seemed good. I placed a bid on a playset & today I WON~ Ebay is horrifically addictive & I feel as though I won the lottery! I can hardly wait to pick it! I have yet to hear from the seller but I am sure it will be soon!

For those of you that have been to Carrie’s amazing backyard haven , you will recognize it is the same one she has for her kids (and Becca has taken it for a test drive and had a Blast on it!) Being that we cannot locate a park nearby, Becca will have her very own park to play in!

Today we met up with some Moms & Tots at a playground for the first time!! I was uber nervous before we left, but Becca and I had a great time playing at the park with others! Only one Mom made it to the park at the time we did and she was a sweetie with a cutie sone that is a few months younger than Becca. It was nice to be out with another Mommy! I hope Becca and I can join them for more events in the future!

Once home from our playdate, Becca wnet for a nap and I cruised around the house tidying up and getting some stuff done. I am trying out a couple things with my blog and playing Sims 2 in my “spare” time. J has been working really hard, getting all settled into a new lab and job. I started to take some pictures of the apartment today and once I have completed it, I will post a link to a gallery page!

So I have been receiving some crazy questions about Canada. hehe! Like one lady asked me if we voted in Canada!?!?! I was like umm yeah we are democratic….So here are a few things I can tell you about Canada….Since people have asked….

~ Yes it snows in Canada. Some areas more than others but overall…We have 4 seasons.
~ No Hurricanes or earthquakes…At least nothing major like the US experiences.
~ We have fought in wars. Canadians Played a major role in the victory of WWII.
~ Yes our HealthCare is Free!
~ Our taxes are higher than in the US, but only by 10%. Most Americans pay 10% of their income for Health Coverage!
~ We do not have a president :shocked: We have a Prime Minister. We vote for Political Parties not the Prime Minister himself!
~ No we do not ALL smoke pot!!
~ Although it is not legal to posses pot at the moment we are working on it
~ It is legal for Gays to marry in Canada!

The one major thing I have noticed here is that people are really stressed out. It is much more laid back in Canada. I guess we just have a little less to worry about. People in general have been uber friendly here. Strangers are happy to make conversations with you and people love to tlak about California!

I have to say now that the DMV is behind me I am pretty happy here in Sunny California. I miss my family and friends a lot! And…..Once a Canadian Girl….Always a Canadian Girl….I will be happy to get on home when it is time to go….Till then Rock On Let’s Hit the Beach!!!

Rock ON! I totally passed my California Driving Test!!! And we drove out to Palm Springs to regrister the car and they did not even bat an eyelash at the paperwork!!! We are all set up for California!! Well J still has to pass his driving test but pffft he will rock!

After all that running around today, we took Becca swimming, since it is her favorite thing to do. She is such an angel through all this crap! Sometimes I wonder if I would feel less guilty if she did not behave so well (probably not then I would even be more stressed out!)

So while J & I were out and about it says to me “Look I think that guy is that woman’s chauffer”….”He opened the door for her!”…..I was like ummm “no hunny that is what we call a gentleman!” Poor J! He is a sweety but that opening door thing usually slides by him! Other ways he is an uber gentleman so I have no complaints, I just thought it was funny.

hehe I am off to do some simming before bed….it is so nice not to have to worry about the car stuff!
