I worked on Becca’s room this morning. Getting things packed and I took apart the change table, all in preparation for next weeks packing blitz. Oddly, I am so not anxious about all the packing I have left. I guess I am confident that it will all get done eventually. This new sense of calm is a new experience for me. I would traditionally be all anxious and uber organized to release the anxitey. Motherhood totally changes your approach to life.

We all went to get photo’s done today. They turned out awesome!! Plus, we get them back tomorrow! So I will be able to send them all out and all that jazz. The photographer was awesome! Very patient and very determined to make us all look uber cute! J got some grad photos done, then we did some family photos plus Becca had some solo shots! She is such a cutie!

Afterwards we enjoyed a lunch out. Unfortunately I came home feeling uber sick I laid down, while Becca napped and J went to the U. I took my nap in prep for work tonight. w00t w00t 2 more midnights!!!

Becca and I played on the bed for like 3/4 of an hour tonight! She was totally cute and even pointed to my nose a couple times on cue (smashed my nose is a better description but she got it right is the point ). She is totally chewing on her fingers lately. It is not something she normally does, so I am thinking some teeth are on their way! YAY! A one year old in a UHAUL teething!! w00t!

J has finished the minor corrections needed to submit his thesis!! hehe Everytime I get excited that he will be around to help me pack, he reminds me he still has to clean up his lab area and do a few more things….One would think he is ducking the packing thing….Now why would he avoid his uber organized wife, anxious, bored daughter during a crazy packing blitz?????? I know he will totally be here when I need him next week. I am a littel relieved I am not going to answer “So what should I do now?” hehe I love him to pieces but he is sucha boy when it comes to this stuff

J and i are mapping out our trip before I head to work!!! I am so excited!!! (no for real no sarcasim ) I think the trip will be fun! How many people can say they have driven across the continent twice?!?! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Ok so I worked my last day shift! w00t w00t! I have to admit I am totally going to miss my co-workers and the guys I work with, but damn am I happy that is done! I still have 2 midnights to complete, but eh, that is nothing compared to the last 7 weeks!

After work, I cruised home and J helped me get Becca ready for our playdate.

Awwwwwww….the playdate!!! The Mom’s planned the sweetest surprise good-bye party. Oh Crap! I am going to cry again. I think up until now I was denial…like I was really not saying good-bye to everyone I am uber sad today. Anyway, back to the surprise party…It was so sweet! They made me cupcakes that spelled out “You will be Missed”, it was so thoughtful. Plus, there was uber thoughtful presents!!! Even for Becca!! Ok I have to stop crying! My favorite gift by far was a beautiful album filled with pictures of all the Mom’s and Babies….I did not even realize it was full of pictures till I got home. I was so overwhelmed with emotion while I was there. I have always apprecaited the playdates. It was a great place to talk babies, husbands and everything in between. The bonus was, all the women that attended are amazing. Each unique with different approaches to child rearing, but amazing mom’s. I learnt so much from them and I will never forget them or the time we spent together……..

It is surreal that J is finally not a student anymore. I dated him as a student, married a student and now after all the blood, sweat and tears…..he has achieved his goal!! I am bursting with pride!!! I believed in him from the beginning, although I had no idea the sacrifices that would come through out this commitment! Alas, he is worth it though, he is the best husband and father EVER!

So OMG…I have some serious packing to do….and weeee is it ever going to be FUN

w00t w00t! My Honey Bunny did it!!!

I got up with J, then Becca & I presented him with his grad present for good luck. We gave him an engraved keychain and frame….Then we watched him go defend his thesis. He looked so HOT in his suit!!

Becca sported a U of W t-shirt and we met up with J at the U after he was done defending…It was so awesome, J’s face totally lit up when he saw Becca come in the room! J went out with his collegues for lunch so Becca and I went on a picnic by the river.

Once home, Becca went down for a nap, and J returned from lunch. Once Becca was up we cruised down to secure health care until the US stuff kicks in. Then headed to a BBQ hosted by another professor. All three of us had a blast at the BBQ.

Once home, J was on the phone with everyone and I put Becca to bed…I am soooo proud of my honey!! He has worked so hard for this moment and I am finally not married to a student!! He is amazing and I love him to pieces!

Phew…I am totally icky feeling…like all day. All I wanted to do was take a nap. Ofcourse when opprotunity arose that I could take a nap, Becca decided only to sleep for 3/4 of an hour *sigh*

On my way home form work I stopped by a shop to pick up new shoes for Becca. She has grown these monster feet in the last month!! While there I spotted this great workbench by little tikes…I know i know we aer moving and ugh it is another thing to pack, but it was a great deal! Becca loves it and has played with it all afternoon! Well worth it! (it matches her little tike kitchen too!)

So I am off for the night…my plan….curl up watch Big Brother and get some sleep. Not the greatest timing feeling like crud….J’s defense is tomorrow and I want to be at my best for him…ta ta

OMG! I am so tired!! Becca and I went shopping again today, looking for the perfect gift for J for Graduating. I think we did it!! Ugh! I forgot to take the stroller with us, then I was all well they have those little cars for kids I can put her in one….Oh NO! They ran out so here I am carry my 22 pound kid around the frikin mall completely at loss what to get J…..*sigh* Only me I swear

J had to give a deparmental talk today. It went awesome (like I had any doubt ) w00t w00t only 2 more days!!!!

Ok people suck….seriously! So our landlord called yesterdya asking us if it was ok to show the house at 6pm tonight, ofcourse no worries right? Well our landlord showed up just like he said, but the loser that wanted to see the place totally stood us up! There is only so much small tlak with a guy that english is his second language…Don’t get me wrong, he is an awesome guy, but what do you chat about for an HOUR?!?! So they are suppose to come back tomorrow night….people suck…..

J and did some more packing…I am really starting to get excited….that and I am so done living amoungst boxes…

OH! And a BIG THANK YOU to chele…. ALL DAY DUDE!! This has been running through my head……
