Ok I am going to try to add a picture of Becca daily! LOL! I am not sure I will always have time to take a picture of her daily but I am going to try.

J & I rented Spanglish tonight…..awww what a sweet movie! Totally made me cry!

I totally want Becca to identify herself as her Mother’s Daughter! That is something I will never have but I can give to her through my love.

Speaking of Becca the last few nights we have been giving her a bit of rice with dinner. She seems to like it!

We booked our flight out west finally! I am so excited to go visiting and to see my cutie cousin Trina get MARRIED!

*sigh* I should get some sleep….hmm may play a lil more Zuma!

Poor J! Becca was totally up in the middle of the night for hours! (which is so not like her not sure what is buggin her). So rather than having him get up with Becca (which is the normal routine), I turned off the monitor and got up with her, fed her then we all napped with Daddy for an hour!

Oh Oh Oh! Becca pulled herself up in the tub last night! We may have to lower the crib soon (we still have her mattress at the highest level since she can not pull up or sit up yet). She so loves walking with support. But she still has not figured out how to get up from lying down to sitting or to get from sitting to standing. I often wonder if I am doing something wrong. Everyone reassures me we are both fine and she will do it when she is ready. But is it not part of being a mommy to worry?

I got an email from Monique (one of my amazing cousins!). It is so nice to hear form her, we used to be uber close but time and distance has really taken its toll. I miss her! She is expecting her first baby in the next few weeks! Her sister Michelle just had a baby a few months ago too! My Grandma is so excited to have so many babies in the family now! Trina (another cousin…) is getting married in July and everyone is going to the wedding! It is going to be so wild with all the babies!!!

J is working like a fiend! So much pressure to get done =( It was nice to have him home this morning. We are both torn when it comes to him going into the lab on weekends. We so want to get done and move to CA, but I miss him and so does Becca. It is so hard to find a balance, but once we are moved he will have a bit more time so it will be worth it.

Weeee I am off to play! I am not sure who enjoys Becca’s toys more at this point =P hehe I love being a mommy!

So I sent out the announcement that soodz.com is up and ready for viewing. It was awesome to get feedback from J’s sister and Uncle Gerry in our guestbook. I added a cool lil daisy on all the pages of soodz.com to add flow to the site.

OMG! I use a template for this blog made by geeksmakemehot!. The designer chic is so wicked cool! I had difficulties adding my flickr badge to the sidebar, and she totally helped me and took a ton of time to do it! Totally sweet! Make sure you check out her site, it has a lot of cool jazz!

In an effort to do one thing each day to get ready for our big move to California, Becca and I went to the passport office to get her very first passport! I also had to get my married name added to my passport. I was totally impressed with the effeciency at the passport office. Anyone that has attempted to use government services in Canada, knows the tiresome wait that can occur if the place is not organized! This office was totally organized and Becca & I weere in & out in 10 minutes!

Arg! J keeps distracting me! He is watching a program on the job of a porno censor in Canada. Can you imagine?

Joe: “Hi, what do you do for a living?”
You: “Why I censor Porn!”

Too wild!

So I am set to work on the website and I get all distracted.

Chatting with Matty is was an wicked cool distraction but then I had to check out his latest project IMVU. It is a cool Instant messenger/Avatar thingy.

IMVU is 3D instant messaging! Chat as 3D animated characters called avatars, trigger animations, dress in different outfits and change your 3D scene whenever you like.

Then I start surfing the net all lazily not at anything but everything. Ugh so tired….

OMG! I got an awesome IM from a friend of mine Matty!! We used to exchange such creativity back in the There.com days. I miss him so much. But wicked cool he is in California, so J and I will totally have to see him when we are down there!
